I have been so bad at blogging lately.

Just to many things to do and not enough
hours in the day. So instead of just being

on top of it I have three months to catch up on

LOL :0 And there is a lot. This summer has flown

by I am so sad but I hope you enjoy looking at our

adventures cause we sure had fun taking them :)

Busy Month of May

Spring Cleaning

So the other day I decided to do a massive "dejunking" of my house before I go nuts. Haha really I just needed something to do while Ty has been gone and my Mom was around and she is the queen of Clean! So low and behold I started with the dreaded closets and I found this stuffed animal. My Mom knows I hate stuffed animals haha. I know I am a freak but I just think they are a waist of money cause they always end up going to the DI. However, my Mom still bought this giraff for Talon when he was born and the kid clun to it. As you can see it was pretty weathered. He loved this dang thing so much I still remember the day we had to kiss it good bye he was so sad and mean mommy was so glad. I showed this to Talon when I found it and he smiled and said "that was my giraff when I was a baby huh mom?" I said yah and he said "you giving it to the DI" I laughed cause my kids have to help dejunk their toys and said ya I think some other kid may like it. Talon replied "thats ok I have my bear now" Haha so once again I am still haunted with stuffed animals and it will be a sad day when Mr. Bear has to leave our house I think I will be nice and give it awhile!

Congrats On Stage Girls

So we just had Champions competition and although this competition was insane crazy it turned out very well. This is only the second year that I have taken my modern teams to competition and this is a tough one. All my teams perform on the stage which I love so much better than the gym but we are always up against amazing teams. My piece entitled "Eleanor Rigby" with begining, intermediate, and advanced dancers took 1st place and Overall Grand Champions hooray. My "Mysteries of the Bicycle" took third don't worry will make a come back haha! And my intermediate "Bim Bom" took first and I won the Choreography award. I was so excited about that I have never won that kind of award before it makes me want to challenge myself and the girls to press even harder. Overall our studio did very well we are getting better and better each year. It is exciting to see the growth. I hope our next competition goes even better!

Flat Talon goes to Idaho

This is one of my favorite things that my kids

Preschool Teacher does. This month the have

learned all about mail. She lets them make a paper

portrait of themselves and send it to whoever they

choose. They go on a field trip to the UPS store and

get to mail it. This year Flat Talon got to go see

his Cousins in Grace. He was so excited when he saw

of course Trevor and the tractor! I had to laugh about

the porta potty that would so be my Brothers idea. I

am just glad to see our farm is moving up in the world with

a high tech plastic porta potty. The porta potty when I was

there was a wooden shack that you weren't sure what

was lurking behind and beneathyou not to mention if it was

going to be still standing when you finished!

class loved them!
