Eagle Scout Award

Tonight we were able to attend my nephew Caylors Eagle Scout Award banquet. It was awesome to see him achieve this award. For his project he built new bleachers for the High School in Parowan. He put in 101 hours. I was very proud of him. My kids were more interested in the live Eagle they brought to show. They said Eagle have such keen eye sight that they can spot a jack rabbit from 5 miles away, and they have one of the largest wing spans. They also said they are very good mates and they always bring home the food and presents (twigs and dead animals) to the females. The males always watch over the young until they are ready to leave the nest. So they told the Eagle Scouts to have good focus on their future, spread their wings as far as they can, go on missions to spread the gospel, and return with honor and find a good mate and shower her with gifts!!(Haha that was my favorite part although Ty was not there to hear it) It was a great experience I hope to share with my boys one day!

It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete... Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever. Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
