I have been so bad at blogging lately.

Just to many things to do and not enough
hours in the day. So instead of just being

on top of it I have three months to catch up on

So the other day I decided to do a massive "dejunking" of my house before I go nuts. Haha really I just needed something to do while Ty has been gone and my Mom was around and she is the queen of Clean! So low and behold I started with the dreaded closets and I found this stuffed animal. My Mom knows I hate stuffed animals haha. I know I am a freak but I just think they are a waist of money cause they always end up going to the DI. However, my Mom still bought this giraff for Talon when he was born and the kid clun to it. As you can see it was pretty weathered. He loved this dang thing so much I still remember the day we had to kiss it good bye he was so sad and mean mommy was so glad. I showed this to Talon when I found it and he smiled and said "that was my giraff when I was a baby huh mom?" I said yah and he said "you giving it to the DI" I laughed cause my kids have to help dejunk their toys and said ya I think some other kid may like it. Talon replied "thats ok I have my bear now" Haha so once again I am still haunted with stuffed animals and it will be a sad day when Mr. Bear has to leave our house I think I will be nice and give it awhile!

Congrats On Stage Girls

So we just had Champions competition and although this competition was insane crazy it turned out very well. This is only the second year that I have taken my modern teams to competition and this is a tough one. All my teams perform on the stage which I love so much better than the gym but we are always up against amazing teams. My piece entitled "Eleanor Rigby" with begining, intermediate, and advanced dancers took 1st place and Overall Grand Champions hooray. My "Mysteries of the Bicycle" took third don't worry will make a come back haha! And my intermediate "Bim Bom" took first and I won the Choreography award. I was so excited about that I have never won that kind of award before it makes me want to challenge myself and the girls to press even harder. Overall our studio did very well we are getting better and better each year. It is exciting to see the growth. I hope our next competition goes even better!

This is one of my favorite things that my kids

Preschool Teacher does. This month the have

learned all about mail. She lets them make a paper

portrait of themselves and send it to whoever they

choose. They go on a field trip to the UPS store and

get to mail it. This year Flat Talon got to go see

his Cousins in Grace. He was so excited when he saw

of course Trevor and the tractor! I had to laugh about

the porta potty that would so be my Brothers idea. I

am just glad to see our farm is moving up in the world with

a high tech plastic porta potty. The porta potty when I was

there was a wooden shack that you weren't sure what

was lurking behind and beneathyou not to mention if it was

going to be still standing when you finished!

Thanks guys you did a great job he and his

class loved them!

FIRE!

So I feel so ridiculous. I guess this is just a lesson for me
not to zone my kids out haha. This is the story. I was in
the kitchen cooking dinner. I had stuff in the oven and I
went to cook stuff on the stove top well I thought I had
turned the back burner on but I turned the front burner
on. Out of habit I got done looking at the dinner in the oven
and put the oven mitt on the stove. Yes the front burner.
I went into the living room cause I was sucked into this
movie that was on. Tanley came in and said Mom fire and
I was like ya uh huh. She walked back into the kitchen and
came in again and said mom fire and I was like what then she
yelled Fire. Ty and I both ran to the kitchen sure enough the
oven mitt was on fire. I couldn't stop laughing. Ty grabbed it
and through snow on it. Needless to say Ty finally got our smoke
detectors up just a good thing I have a smart daughter haha!

Just wanted to let my family know how much

yes that is some sort of shark!

Our cute little love towels. Made us feel like it was our

honeymoon all over again.

This night was the most satisfying night of our trip.

We were at the Hard Rock eating on the board walk

and to little spanish kids 10 and 14 came up to us

trying to sell bracelets, headbands, and everything

else you can think of that they sell in Mexico. We got

to talking with them and they told us they're mom

just died, Dad walked out on them, so they were on

there own for awhile till there Aunt took them in.

My heart instantly broke I wanted to adopt them right there.

They said they get up at four and work till very late. It was 10:00 pm

when we sat down. They had just barely started school this

year. We sat them down and fed them a hamburger, coke,

and icecream. I have never seen to little kids so excited. My

heart broke again. We laughed ( I think they were laughing at our

not so good spanish skills)and talked so more then we

let them sell us there homeade items. It was such a great

feeling to us to know at least that night they would not go

hungry!

Our last night on the town. We went to Senior Frogs

and watched the boys, Amy, and Nikki ride the bull.

No Bull riding for me only cause I was in a dress haha.

Our trip to Cancun was amazing its just what I needed.

The Riu Caribe an all inlcusive resort was fantastic.

As you can see our favorite thing was snorkeling and

relaxing but now back to the real world haha!

This was a great Thanksgiving Holiday. We got to see lots of family and see our Boppsie Babies (Bailee and Berklee) be blessed. What a beautiful blessing Bro you did a great job on both! I can't express enough how much I love FAMILY! I am so glad that we have eachother. Life wouldn't be worth living without it. Eventhough we go through lots of trials and face a lot of obstacles in our lives, I am grateful that we have eachother to lean on.

Funny Story

So today I went to pick up my daughter for preschool and the teacher was like wait Janene I have to tell you a funny story. She said this last week she has been telling the kids a story about a pumpkin patch and all the pumpkins that lived in this patch. She told them one day a bunch of children came to this patch to pick all the pumpkins but only one was left. This pumpkin felt so lonely and sad that he was the only pumpkin in the patch. She said as she looked at Talon she could tell he was very concerned. She continued on with the story and said that a bunch of field mice also lived in the pumpkin patch. Then she asked the class so was the pumpkin really alone? Talon raised his hand and said No Jesus was with the pumpkin the whole time he is always with us! The teacher just laughed when she told me of course I had water fill my eyes. What a great reminder to me that are children are sometimes are best examples!

So ever since I was introduced to Mia Michaels

and the amazing Pulse staff I have been motivated

by their creativity. I have always wanted to do a

crazy photo shoot with the studio staff and we finally

got most everyone rounded up at the same time to do

it. It was seriously so fun. We tried to bring our own unique

style of dance to the picture. I thought Emily did an

amazing job of capturing that.

It was such a blast. Our best friends in the world the

Warner's and the Rich's got to experience this craziness

with us. We only heard Ty cuss once when people shot

fireworks at our tent haha! Good food Great company!

First day of Preschool. Aren't they adorable!

My six year anniversy at Ty's sisters Suite haha. They did

this cute basket and funny guest letter for us. So they are
not crazy. This mural painted of a very sexy little mermaid

came with the house they just moved into. I think Ty

was more turned on by the mermaid than me she does

have bigger boobs. Unfortunetly I don't think they will

be keeping this :(

So after a great summer in Plano Texas, I can say I am glad to be a Utahn. I like the people don't get me wrong it is just hot hot hot. But I am really tan so that made up for everything. However, the summer is still not done :( Ty is still pushing away. I MISS HIM. I can't wait for fall, hunting season, and snow! It was a long trip home with lots of weird things on the way (aka the pictures below of cars buried in an open field) but it was a good trip three great kids, no dvd, great conversations with the husband, and lots of Suckers!

Its been awhile since I have posted cause of my crazy life and my boss had these pictures so here they are. 8 grueling days in NYC. We got to take two dance conventions the Pulse Teacher Workshop and Dance Teacher Summit. We were seriously running back and forth getting as many classes in as we could. When we weren't in convention we were taking classes at Broadway Dance Center which was fantastic! Don't get me wrong after long day of dance we treated ourselves to New York Cheesecake and lots of delicious expensive food. We did the night life as well. We saw a Comedy Show, Wicked, Billy Elliot, Chicago, and Burn the Floor. They were all awesome but Billy Elliot and Wicked are by far the best. We also saw an off broadway show the Synthesis Dance Project (Director Tracie Stanfield). We had been taking her classes at BDC and got the invitation to see her show it was awesome she is amazing teacher and choreographer. I love NYC it is such an inspiring city I got so many ideas and learned the greatest new techniques! I love my husband so much for letting me go and support me in my passion!

X FIGHTERS

So I 've never since my husband so excited when he heard the X Fighters Free Style Motor Cross was going to be in Texas this year. It actually only comes to the states once a year and it just happened to be 40 minutes from where we live. The Stockyards of Fortworth Texas what a happening little place.

If you don't know what free style is it is when they build huge dirt jumps and set up ramps that they do tricks off of. It was so cool one of the guys did two double back flips right in front of us. During the wait to get a new rider out they also had bull riding which was pretty sweet. And the best part I am sure you all will agree is during there so called intermission the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders danced. Yah I was so excited I think I took more pictures of them haha. The even did a double pirouette, a kick line, and the splits on the dirt. You can't come to Texas and not see the Dalla Cowboy Cheerleaders!

So I haven't been to too many concerts, but I have to say that this was a blast. I know

I know it is country and I was quite surprised when Ty got the tickets but I think he

really enjoyed it infact, I caught him singing some of the songs cause we do listen to

country at times. But Wait before you say anything about the cowboy hats and shorts

we didn't really put the two together I just wanted to see what Ty looked like in a cowboy

hat probably the only time I will see him in one. I have to kind of admit the cowboy hat and

shorts was a turn on haha!

President Monson

So my mom and some of my other family (except me of course) went to Little America to eat dinner and the sat right across from President Monson. I am so jealous. He helped sing happy birthday to my niece Maddie. Crazy huh I guess you never know who you will run into.

Tornado!

Well there is a first for everything right? We just experienced the first tornado. So this is what went down I took the kids to the park with a bunch of ladies from our ward out here and they were explaining to me how to get to the park. They said I turn by the tornado alarm. So that was the first time I actually had even seen those before. Then they were saying how I shouldn't worry that the season was over and they really never get them in Northern Texas. (I am in Plano). So we left the park and headed for home. We got home and all of the sudden the alarms went off. Wow they are loud. I kind of freaked out and called my friend Stacy cause she lives in Nebraska and has been through these a couple of times her husband answered and said go to a bottom apartment and get in the tub (I guess that is the safest place). So I barged in on this girl thats out here babysitting her sister in laws three kids and we all got in the tub ( pretty funny sight). Ty was still out knocking doors and said that it wasn't even bad were he was. Then five minutes later he called and was like ya I think I better come home I see it coming. It was so weird when I called Stacy the sky was totally clear and the winds were come then within 15 minutes it changed dramatically the sky went green and the clouds rolled in way fast and it poured. So it didn't actually touch the ground the worst I heard was trees were knocked over and an eighteen wheeler got blown over. Talon kept saying is the tormato over? Where is my dad is he going to blow away in the tormato? I was just glad we were safe and hope that that was the last one we have to experience.

Texas History

So I don't know if Texas really likes to be known for the state where JFK was assassinated but it was pretty cool to see. Call me a nerd but I loved reading about it, seeing where it happened, and hearing people talk of the conspiracy theory of who did it. Fascinating. Those X's in the street where Ty is pointing at is where he got shot. There was two of them the first missed. The building we are standing in front of is the building where supposebly one of the gun shots came from, although there is talk of bullets heard coming from the grassy knoll just across from us. The building is now a museum dedicated to JFK and his wife. There were fascinating pictures in there I had never seen before of like the bullet wound to his head, the so-called actually gun used, and some cool old photos of when it actually happened and they displayed some of the cameras that those photos were taken from. Ty and I were noticing that it was a really good posting for who ever did it cause it was a good clear shot and very close. What a tragedy. The last picture is just of a cool restaurant that lights up at night.

My Babies One!

Jaeda turned one on the 16 of May I can't believe how

time flies. We celebrated it before we came to Dallas. I had

our Dance recital, packing for Dallas, a trip to Preston Idaho to

get props for a dance I am doing, my nieces dance recital in

Bountiful, and then Jaeda's party, then a our flight was on Tuesday

morning. Wow it was a crazy week but now I am relaxing at the

pool make in up for lost time heehee!

So we are finally in Texas. I just barely got the internet on my laptop so that is why I haven't posted anything well, and my life has been crazy. We got here safe it was only a three hour flight thankgoodness. My kids were very good which made it that much easier. I've been to the pool like three times already. I met my mom away from my mom also. She is the nicest lady ever. I have already had visitors my best friend from high school Stacy and her family came and stayed that was way fun we got some good laughs. So now I have the internet I am going to have to back track on my posts.

Dixie State College

So I just got hired on as an Adjunct Professor (I don't have my masters so the have to tack on Adjunct) at Dixie State College to teach their modern dance II class. I am so excited it is all there company members so it will be awesome. I am only teaching twice a week so it is not bad at all. It has always been my dream to teach at a college level so I am glad I get the opportunity.

Eagle Scout Award

Tonight we were able to attend my nephew Caylors Eagle Scout Award banquet. It was awesome to see him achieve this award. For his project he built new bleachers for the High School in Parowan. He put in 101 hours. I was very proud of him. My kids were more interested in the live Eagle they brought to show. They said Eagle have such keen eye sight that they can spot a jack rabbit from 5 miles away, and they have one of the largest wing spans. They also said they are very good mates and they always bring home the food and presents (twigs and dead animals) to the females. The males always watch over the young until they are ready to leave the nest. So they told the Eagle Scouts to have good focus on their future, spread their wings as far as they can, go on missions to spread the gospel, and return with honor and find a good mate and shower her with gifts!!(Haha that was my favorite part although Ty was not there to hear it) It was a great experience I hope to share with my boys one day!

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter weekend.

My brother and his family came on Friday and we had an Easter egg hunt and

then went to dinner. Then we had a rain day on Saturday and vegged out all day.

Sunday we found our Easter baskets that the Easter bunny hid (fun little family

tradition) then got all dressed up in our Easter best to go to church. Then our

friends Billy and Nikki came over for Sunday dinner with their two boys Ryder and

Easton. Wow I think all our kids had way to much candy!

Ear Tubes!

This morning we were up bright and early taking Jaeda to same day surgery to get tubes in her ears. She was such a good girl. She only fussed when the anesthesia started to wear off. Hopefully now she will feel a lot better!

OnStage Dance Studio

Good job girls! Piano Man took 2nd and Jellyfish took 1st at Champions competition in St. George last Saturday.Our studio did awesome as well. We came home with a ton of firsts and seconds and overall high point studio. Congrats!

Our Trip with the Scott Family to Cali was so much fun. Having friends with you always makes it more enjoyable. It was just what we needed before the big move to Dallas this summer. Ty hardly answered his phone I was so proud of him and our kids were pretty well behaved even though I got home and found out they all have bronchitis, ear infections, and possibly need tubes in their ears. Wow what a geat mom I am! Well enjoy the pics cause I enjoy taking them!

So AMP took all of the Dallas office snowboarding for two days at Powder Mountain. We even had VIP passes. First time I have ever been VIP. It was so much fun. All the people going to Dallas are way fun so it will be a good year. The best part was seeing my friend Nikki and talking about the good old times. Just think Nikki of the good times will be creating this summer!!

Twins!!

Haha no its not me darn it!! My bro (Bryant) and his wife came down this weekend to spend some time with us. When they got here they showed us their ultrasound. Yup there is two of them. Bryant told me he needed to think of two names but I kind of didn't believe him till I saw the pictures. Crazy! I am so excited for them. Jodi is funny she just kept saying I can't believe there is two growing in my stomach! Congrats and the best of luck! Love you guys!

Holiday Fun!

We had a great time over the Christmas break. Of course my kids loved opening presents and they were really fun to watch this year. We gave Tanley my old doll house which as you can see has become a place to store children. Talon got a new bike which was actually given to us by my sister. It was your daughters bike so I had a friend that works at an auto body repaint it. We thought it turned out nicely. After Christmas we headed up to Rexburg and to alot of snow. It was fun we went snow machining alot (yes I am from Idaho translation snow mobiling). I think Ty and I had more fun on those than the kids. We hooked the snowboards up to it and Ty went off the rough it was funny. We also put mentos in a Diet coke bottle haha! If you haven't seen this or tried it please check it out on youtube. It is hilarious. Ty and I also got a day to ourselves snowboarding. Wow, it had been 2 years since I had been because I have been pregnant every year. It was so fun it felt good to get back on the slopes and Ty even landed his backflip Ya! Then we went to my sisters house in Bountiful for New Years. Um yah those are Rootbeer bottles crazy people. I love my sisters family and there crazy little dog. Well, it was a good break but it is always nice to come home and take down christmas decorations boo!

So over New Years my sister, her husband and son, and Ty and I went to see this film. Wow, it was very good minus of few skin showings (nothing to serious though come on its Brad Pitt) it was excellent. The two quotes above were are favorites. I love movies that actually have some depth and good meanings behind them.

So December has been a crazy busy month I am sure for us all! I love December and the spirit it brings and all the festivities. And yes the Snow Snow Snow! We have had a lot of firsts this Christmas season. Talon had his first school Christmas recital. He did so good and sang every song! Tanley had her first dance recital. Man I was I nervous for her she is a little bit crazy in class maybe because I am her teacher but she was adorable. I thought she stole the show. She loved it so much that she tried to stay on stage for the next class it was funny. Jaeda gave us her first scare. Her oxygen level dropped to 80 so they thought she had rsv but luckly with breathing treatments it has came up. Poor girl, on top of that she has croop and a bad ear infection. She is feeling better now and were excited to see her during her first Christmas. She has already tried to open presents cause she is crawling all over the place! We have had really fun playing in all of the snow and feeling the rush of getting Christmas ready. With my Mom around I have done a lot of baking and learning all the secrets. It has been fun. Every week the kids have enjoyed a spiritual Christmas story before they go to bed. After all said and done its just nice to sit down to a nice cup of cocoa and be surrounded by the people that you love. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

What a fun new Christmas tradition we are

starting for our family. We decided to go and

cut our tree down this year. Our friends told

us not to cause it would cause a divorce cause

the know how anal I am. But we did it anyway

and it was actually really fun and me and my

husband still love eachother. And he remember this

year not to put in my house till it was flocked (Oh man

that is a whole blog session in its self). Our friends from

Bryce have a flocking machine so they came down and

made my tree all white and snowing (thanks to my mom

she got me started on that). So there is the finished project

it looks better in real like I think!

So these pictures are from my birthday weekend. Ya I am a little slow. We decided to go to Idaho and see my family up there since we wouldn't be up there for Thanksgiving. It was a really good time I got to stay with my sister Jana in Logan. We always have good visits with her and I always stay up way to late talking about life. Then my Mom and Dads broker to us to dinner at Hamilton's steak house and it just ended up being on my Birthday. 27! It was fun to be with all the family and laugh about Ty's peter pan tights that they all saw hehe! I even got to eat at the Formosa the night before which is my favorite chinese restaurant ever! So eating out is like my favorite thing I guess! Then we went up to Idaho to stay with Bryant and Jodi. There great hosts and my kids love them. Jodi has an adorable house she is so Crafty! We got to go back to good old Grace High and watch my nieces Brandi and Sam play basketball. I don't love girls bball but I really got into watching them play they are awesome. Nicole my other niece is a cheerleader and does a great job! I probably watched them more heehee! I got to visit with my best friends parents which is always a treat cause there like my second parents. So my oldest brother Mark and his family moved into the house up there and they just finished remodeling. Wow it looks so great. I am so happy that it stayed in the family and we still have a play to go to! On they way home we got to stop and see my Dads and my nieces head stones which just got done. It was nice to see them before the snow flies and put flowers on them. They look really nice. I am so amazed at how strong my brother and his wife are I know that it wasn't easy especially seeing Jaeda who is only two days older. I know that the Lord will bless them when the time is right they are amazing and will be amazing parents. I am grateful for my Mom and Dad for raising us to have strong testimonies and to always stay close to our Savior. I can't wait for the day that we get to be with my Dad and Brynlee again.

When we got home we got another great surprise Ty's Mom flew into Cedar to spend the day with us. The kids were thrilled they love Grandma Curds. Talon got to see the cool plane that she flew in and he cried when she left. I have two wonderful families, wonderful children, and a wonderful husband I couldn't be more grateful for that.

The Pulse

So our dance studio On Stage went to the Pulse

convention this weekend in Vegas. Oh man it was so

fun. The teachers are amazing as well as the choreography.

I was so sore after Mia's class I could not move my neck. She

is so inspiring and such a technician at creating movement. Isn't the

picture of her and Jaeda adorable. Hopefully, Jaeda is a future dancer.

I also took class from Tyce, Shane, Laurie Ann, Chris and Dave. The

last picture is of the band "Think" it was there first appearance. Chris

Judd is the founder and helping them get big. The were actually pretty

decent so check em out.

So I babysat my friend McCall's kids Porter and Cooper

yesterday and can I tell you there so freakin cute. We played

Guitar Hero and Cooper can Rock! He was bouncing with the

music and his mom can be proud he kept on the rhythm very

nicely! And of course my daughter Tanley loves these boys.

great in there wedding album heehee! She is such a flirt!

October happenings

What a crazy month October has been!
I just wanted to post some fun things that
I have done this month that I want to
remember. Starting with the bottoms pics,

my mom and I have been going canning
once a month together. It has been such a
fun time for us. I have been really nervous
about my food storage and felt impressed
that I needed to get going. So slowly I am

making progess. My mom has been doing
some for my sisters for Christmas which I
now think is a great gift cause I realize the
importance of it. She was worried about me
posting cause the funny hats but I just had

to get one so my brothers could see. Oh ya
and Britt I got a nice one of Derek for you so
you can make fun of him. The next pics are
of the local missionaries. I signed up to feed
them in Relief Society. I feel so dang bad
when those papers come

by and only a few names
are on it. I guess my
conscience gets to me.
We did it for family night. They gave us a great lesson on getting back to the simply things in life. Then there is my darling baby Jaeda who is now five months old and loving life and food. She is always smacking her tongue and diving into any food that we have. It is pretty funny. Las but not least, that is my dance class that we just had today. As you can see we had a Halloween party and they got to where their costumes. They are so cute most of the time heehee!

Tis' the Season

Congrats Ty its getting bigger every year! The

deer that is. It has been such a fun hobby for

Ty and I to start hunting together. Last year I

missed one about this size (a little bigger haha)

and this year I didn't draw out so I just helped

scout. I love watching the deer and their patterns

they take. They are actually pretty consist animals

by taking the same course. Ty shot this one in our

little "secret" spot. It was 240 yrds away coming up this

little canyon where we saw a bunch of does come up

about an hour before. Were not sure how this one

got away from all the hunters below us but we are glad

that he did. We plan on making jerky and some steaks!

The "Shiner"

So I actually kind of thought that my son would be the first
to get the "shiner" in the family but apparently I was wrong.
So the story goes as this; Ty was on duty and took the kids
to Walmart. Well, to his knowledge they were just fine and
playing happily in the cart return outside of Walmart. Where
was Ty you ask? Putting on windshield wipers not watching
the children at all. Then Tanley all of the sudden started
screaming so Ty turned around and she was holding her eye.
He picked her up to see what was wrong and her eye was all
puffy. He looked over at Talon who was sitting on the curb
quietly as a guilty culprit would.Ty asked him what had
happened and he said he pushed her into the bar. Well, so
there you have it. I have a distracted husband, a daughter
with a black eye, and a very honest son. Hahaha I had to laugh a
little and be proud that Talon was so honest however, he did get a
little lesson on not pushing and being nice to girls.

Meeting up with family!

As you can tell we got our first snow fall like most of

Utah did! It was beautiful up in Park City with the

Autumn leaves and then the snow if only there had been

enough to snowboard! Well we spent most of our time

in the WestGate Hotel up near the Canyons Resort. It

was a beautiful resort and we were the first ones to stay

in our rooms. The reason why we went up there was to

see our Canadian cousins. We love Dave and Marilyn's

family and always spend time around the table laughing

at old memories, playing games, or in this case watching

Ty's card tricks (he needs to work in Vegas). Lyndzi and her

husband Kyle and son Ryder (standing by Talon) are moving

to Australia in November so we won't get to see them for a

long time (unless we save a lot I mean a lot and go see them).

Brittany's (sitting with me) baby Evie is just a few months

younger than Jaeda and they weighed the same amount when they

born. Can you believe all that hair! She is a doll. Well it was

good seeing everyone. Family is the most important

thing in the world.

Alpine Slides

Spending the weekend in Park City was a blast. While Ty

and I waited for our family to get there we took the kids

to the slides. Talon had a blast. He kept wanting to go back

to the slippy slide. Ty said because it was so cold that they

were extra fast but he just wanted to go faster. As you can

see we had to go warm up by the fire with some nice hot

chocolate and a muffin!

Jaeda Juice Box

So we call Jaeda the "Juice Box" cause every time we squeeze her out comes the milk juice. Just like those little messy juice boxes you get your kids thinking they won't squeeze them and without fail it never works it ends up all over them. Well, minus the constant spitting she is a very happy baby. She is so cuddly. She is really starting to roll, arch her back, and get squirmy so we have floor time. I can't believe she will be

Street Party

So every year our street gets together and has a BBQ at one of the neighbors house. It has been a tradition even long before we moved on this street. It is kind of nice to mingle and get to know who you are living by. As you can see my street is a little bit older but I love it. I have the best neighbors. They are always checking up on me and they bring me fresh vegetables and fruits from their garden. One of my neighbors VR has been on this street 53 years. He graduated in 1981 the year I was born. He was a professor at SUU for their Biology department. He just barely got put in a wheel chair, I asked him how he was doing and he said things would be a lot better if I could walk or just die. Man old people are funny.

So this weekend we headed up north to the Dew Tour. It was a blast. We went and saw the BMX dirt, Freestyle motocross, street skate, and BMX vert. We took Talon and Jaeda. Jaeda got a little sunburnt but Talon had a ball. He loved the Skateboards the best. I can't believe how good some of these 13 yr old skaters were it was crazy. All of these guys competing need a pat on the back some of them were pulling some insane tricks. On kid on the BMX dirt was 17 and had one a bunch of competitions so he just bought his first house. CRAZY. If they win they make decent money. I told Ty to start getting his act together. So now he wants land to make those jumps. Ty got a picture with Ronie Renner a freestyle motocross champ (he is in all of Travis Pastrana's video's) so he was thrilled. We hung out with our friends Rusty and Trista, Tyre, and my nephew Austin and Uncle Troy.

Wow today is our five year anniversary I can't believe it. It was been such a wonderful journery with Ty. He definetaly isn't dull there is always something exciting wether its traveling clear across the country, or having another child it is usually always a surprise. They always say you love someone more the more you get to know them. I think it is true. My love for Ty has gotten stronger. Oakland Temple

Since we've been married it has been our goal to go to the
temple every month and do the Lords work. It has been such a
blessing in our lives to do this. This month we went to the Oakland temple
because it was the closest to us. It is beautiful. I love the temple
grounds and how well they are kept.

Our next adventure was San Francisco. It was about an hour and a half from were we lived. Our first stop was Pier 39. We saw Alcatraz and the Sea lions. My kids loved the sea lions they kept trying to make the noise they make. We did some shopping and at some nice fresh fish and had a bowl of fabulous clam chowder. Then we went across the famous Golden Gate Bridge. As you can see it was really windy and cold. Then we went down Lumbar street the worlds twistiest street. Our last stop was Ghirardelli square. We got some awesome chocolate and walk down to the street vendors. It was a blast!

At the Lake

So we finally made it to California! It was a long drive
but i had my mom with me and she has a dvd in her
car so that made it nice and quiet. The reunion with Ty
was good! The kids were excited to see him. This was
our first outing with Liz and Audrey. It was fun. We swam
and had a picnic. Liz brought smore stuff and the kids
cooked there mallows on the grill. They thought that
was pretty cool.

My First Earthquake!

So scary. I have never experienced an earthquake until this week. We were in Anehiem Cali. with the SUU dance team attending the USA college dance camp. McCall and I were just sitting in this big concrete convention center watching the girls learn routines. Jaeda was sitting next to us in her stroller when all of the sudden the floor began to move. McCall looked at me and said "Janene we are having an earthquake" and we saw the lights begin to sway and felt the building shake. Good thing for McCall she and her motherly instincts dove over Jaeda's stroller and unfortunately I froze. I was so scared. Then we saw everyone running for the door so we took off. I almost took out this african american girl with my stroller. After we waited awhile they finally let us back in. No one got hurt thank goodness but there was some debry that fell from the ceiling. I was still shaky an hour later.
